Why You Shouldn't Wear Underwear to Bed

Wearing underwear to bed is bad for your health, according to a gynaecologist.

There are new health benefits being reported on which underwear you should wear to bed.

Researchers say it’s better going without.

They say letting everything breathe down there can keep bacteria from collecting there and help avoid infection.

“If [the area] is constantly covered – especially by a fabric that’s not moisture-wicking or absorbent – moisture collects, creating the perfect breeding ground for bacteria or yeast,” says Gynecologist “I often tell my patients to sleep without underwear.” underwear can cause fertility problems.

Just wearing looser underwear could be a better alternative for those who can’t do without.

Tight underwear can also keep men from reproducing because the heat can affect the quality of sperm.

“Your nether regions need to be just the right temperature in order to optimise sperm production,” said Dr. Brian Steixner, Director of the Institute for Men’s

Can drinking alot of water every day make you healthier?

The body's most important functions, such as digestion and circulation, need bodily fluids, which is why being hydrated is so vital. There are lots of ways our bodies can lose water, such as sweating, breathing and urinating, and drinking water can keep everything in balance. It also helps your kidneys do their job of eliminating waste and purifying your blood more efficiently.

If you are looking to increase your water intake, you might want to add some lemon to it to make it taste better and add even more benefits. Lemon water can help boost digestion and immunity while detoxifying your system. In addition, you'll get all those vitamins found in lemons, such as vitamin C, calcium, vitamin B, potassium and magnesium. It can also help cleanse and alkalize your body.

Those who are looking to lose weight will appreciate one of the benefits noted by Wil Fulton during his challenge: It makes you feel fuller. In addition, it can help hydrate the lining of your stomach, protecting it from irritation caused by acidic foods.

It's important to keep in mind, however, that despite its many benefits, it's possible to overdo it when it comes to drinking water. When drinking high amounts of water, you should space it evenly throughout the day so the levels of salt in your body do not drop to dangerously low levels.

If you are like most people, you probably don't drink enough water. Why not give the challenge a try and see how your body reacts?

Skin Disease Gone

PELVIC INFLAMMATORY DISEASE- Major cause of infertility in women

Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) is a major cause of infertility in women. The main cause of PID is infection of the pelvic organs.

Pelvic inflammatory disease can cause infertility by producing scarring that damages or blocks the fallopian tubes. If an egg released by the ovary can't pass through the fallopian tubes, it can't get to the uterus to be fertilized.

It happens when the causative organism (germs) move up from a woman’s Virginia and infects her pelvic organs. Many different types of bacteria can cause PID; however, PID is most commonly associated with two common sexually transmitted infections (STI) – gonorrhea and Chlamydia. A woman can also get pelvic inflammatory disease without having an STI. It is believed that the normal bacteria found in the virginal and on the cervix can sometimes cause pelvic inflammatory disease.

6 things that can cause your risk of pelvic inflammatory disease include;

1.      The presence of a sexually transmitted infection, especially gonorrhea and Chlamydia.
2.      Woman under the age 25 years and are having sex, this is partly because the cervix of teenage girls and young women is not fully matured, increasing their susceptibility to STDs that are linked to PID.
3.      Women who have more than one sex partner.
4.      Women whose partners have more than one sexual partner.
5.      Women who douche. Douching can push bacteria into pelvic organs and cause infection.
6.      Women who have an intrauterine device (IUD).

What are the Symptoms of PID?

Pain in the lower abdomen and pelvis
    Irregular periods
    Pain during sex
    Pain during urination
    Lower back pain
Excess vaginal discharge with a foul odor
Fever, exhaustion, diarrhea, vomiting, and other general signs of infection.

pPlease Note: Douching significantly increases your risk of developing pelvic inflammatory disease and other pelvic infections and is not recommended. Douching removes the natural, protective mucous from the cervix, giving bacteria a more receptive place to grow. You should use caution if you must douche and be aware of the risk.

Whats the Solution
S
SSince PID is an inflammatory disease, it will require a strong antioxidant to be used to get rid of it at least to a large extent and that is Garlic.

Yes the garlic you know.

How do you use the garlic to get rid of PID?

It is a tough one so a preliminary treatments should have begun before this step.

Every night before going to bed, insert a small bulb of garlic into the vagina and allow till morning before removing it.

It is equally important that a part of the bulb is bruised so as to allow the contents of the garlic to be able to seep through into other vital areas within the internal areas.

If the of insertion is scary to you, since we are talking about antioxidant is better you go  for  a product with the highest antioxidant that can't be find anywhere is called Trevo

100,000 Nigerians contact Cancer Yearly – Senate panel

The Chairman, Senate Committee on Health, Dr. Lanre Tejuoso, on Monday said that between 50,000 and N100,000 Nigerians contact cancer annually in the country.

Senator Tejuoso spoke as stakeholders at a one-day public hearing on a Bill for an Act to Establish National Centre for Cancer Research and Treatment in Nigeria expressed concerns over the spread of the disease in the country.

Tejuoso underscored the World Health Organisation (WHO) report that cancer is a major cause of global deaths with seven million being recorded every year and 72 per cent of such deaths occurring in middle income countries such as Nigeria.

He noted that the rate of deaths caused by cancer in the world is about13 per cent.
The Ogun State lawmaker noted that the Cancer Research Centre will foster scientific improvement to cancer prevention, treatment and care and as well co-ordinate and liaise between the wide range of groups and health care providers with an interest in cancer.

Tejuoso listed other objectives of the centre to include making recommendations to the government about cancer policy and priorities; overseeing dedicated budget for research centre; assisting with the implementation of government policies and programmes in cancer control and providing financial assistance out of money appropriated by the National Assembly for research and treatment.
He noted that one out of every eight women expect to be diagnosed of breast or cervical cancer in their lifetime.

According to him, two of every 10 men expect to be diagnosed for prostate, lungs and colorectal cancer.
He said: “It is also well known that the various forms of cancer disease have been more felt in Africa and Nigeria in particular where resources and awareness are not readily available for prevention, diagnose and treatment. This bill seeks to provide for establishment of the National Centre for Cancer Research and Treatment to research into cancer and to provide treatment to patients in Nigeria.”

The Ministry of Health represented by a director in the ministry, Dr. Patience Osinubi, noted that instead of narrowing the handling of cancer disease to establishing a research centre, the bill should embrace a holistic approach to the disease by establishing National Agency for the Control of Cancer.

She also highlighted the need to focus on every area related to the ailment, noting that cancer is treatable if it is detected earlier.
