Why People Choose Job Security Over Freedom of Life

The primary reason many people seek job security is because that’s what they are taught to seek, both at school and at home.

As adults, millions of people still continue to follow that advice. Many of us are conditioned from our earliest days to think about job security, rather than financial security or financial freedom.

And because most of us learn little to nothing about money at home or at school.

it’s only natural that we cling ever more tightly to the idea of job security instead of reaching for financial freedom.

The main reason that 90 percent of the population is unsuccessful and poor is because that’s the side they learned about at school.

After leaving school, they often end up with lots of expenses and may fall into debt.

This means they must cling ever tighter to a job, or to professional security, just to pay the bills.

Searching for Financial Freedom.

Many people spend their lives in search of security or freedom, but wind up instead going from job to job.

It’s a long and vicious cycle of discontent.

In my opinion, you should make a serious effort not to find a new job if you’re unhappy, but to begin moving to the business world as fast as you can.

That's why i recommend network marketing for people who are just starting out and don't have a lot of money to invest.

But research shows that 90% of people in network marketing don't understand the business and 90% of people not involved in it too don't understand it.

That's why most people will prefer to remain broke all their lives than to start an home based business.

University Of Ibadan Discovers Sickle Cell Treatment

The University of Ibadan (UI), in partnership with two American universities, on Wednesday, announced the discovery of a permanent sickle cell disease treatment.

The cure which was described as less risky and with a potential to help over 5 million Africans living with the disease, was the outcome of a research carried out by UI in alliance with medical experts at the University of Illinois and the University of Loyola, both in Chicago.

Nigeria and other African countries can now heave a sigh of relief as the University of Ibadan in partnership with the University of Illinois, Chicago, USA and University of Loyola, Chicago have discovered a permanent cure for the terminal disease.
The cure of the deadly disease, according to the Professor of Medicine, Victor Gordeuk, who is the Director, Sickle Cell Centre, University of Illinois, Chicago, USA and his colleagues, Prof. Damiano Rondelli, also from the same university and Prof. Bamidele Tayo, University of Loyola, Chicago this new treatment is done through bone marrow transplant and that it is less risky.
This was revealed yesterday at the University College Hospital, Ibadan after a three-day brainstorming session with other experts in the teaching hospital.
Unlike the other conventional method of stem cell transplant which exposes patients to radiation which could cause cancer, first blood and marrow stem cell transplant, BMT, is much more effective.

The experts who were flanked by the Chief Medical Director, UCH, Prof. Temitope Alonge, Dr. Titilola Akingbola, an haematologist and Dr. Foluke Fasola, said this stem cell transplant is a standard procedure for the treatment of many blood cancers in both adult and children.

He said: “With this chemotherapy-free transplant, we are curing adults with sickle cell disease, and we see that their quality of life improves fast within just one month of the transplant.

“About 90 per cent of the approximately 450 patients who have received stem cell transplants for sickle cell disease have been children. Chemotherapy has been considered too risky for adult patients, who are often more weakened than children by the disease.

“Adults with sickle cell disease can now be cured without chemotherapy — the main barrier that has stood in the way for them for so long. Our data provide more support that this therapy is safe and effective and prevents patients from living shortened lives, condemned to pain and progressive complications.”

“In the new procedure, patients receive immuno-suppressive drugs just before the transplant, along with a very low dose of total body irradiation, a treatment much less harsh and with fewer potentially serious side effects than chemotherapy.”

“ Donor cells from a healthy and tissue-matched sibling are transfused into the patient. Stem cells from the donor produce healthy new blood cells in the patient, eventually in sufficient quantity to eliminate symptoms. In many cases, sickle cells can no longer be detected. Patients must continue to take immunosuppressant drugs for at least a year.

The CMD, Prof. Alonge who called for support from government, philanthropists, donour agencies and corporate bodies like banks and Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation for provision of equipment and completion of the sickle cell centre, described sickle cell as a disease of bone crisis which the patient suffers from head to toe.

He added that Sickle Cell Disease is a genetic disorder due to the presence of an abnormal form of haemoglobin in the red blood cells, called haemoglobin S (Hb S) instead of haemoglobin A (Hb A). Haemoglobin in the red blood cell is responsible for the transportation of oxygen in the body

Doctors warn against drinking alcohol during pregnancy and Its effects

If you're pregnant and wondering if it's OK to indulge in the occasional small glass of merlot or to sip a little champagne on New Year’s Eve, the advice you receive may be confusing.

Some doctors recommend that you completely avoid alcohol when you’re expecting; others say that occasional light drinking is unlikely to harm your baby.

Chances are your friends are divided on this, too. One might confide that she enjoyed the occasional beer during her pregnancy and feels her child turned out fine, while another sees this as taking an unnecessary risk.

For decades, researchers have known that heavy drinking during pregnancy can cause birth defects. But the potential effects of small amounts of alcohol on a developing baby are not well understood.

It may not seem like a big deal, but doctors have pleaded with soon-to-be mothers to stop drinking alcohol while pregnant.

The American Academy of Pediatrics has issued a message that it hopes will ring clear: pregnant woman should not drink alcohol, ever. According to a report from CNN, the group is attempting to lay the debate to rest, as alcohol can have devastating effects on a developing fetus.

According to the group’s statement, “No amount of alcohol should be considered safe to drink during any trimester of pregnancy.” The report listed exposure to alcohol as the leading cause of a wide range of prenatal birth defects, as well as the development of mental issues later on in life.

According to the International Alliance for Responsible Drinking, health agencies in the majority of countries around the world recommend the same, with the exception of the United Kingdom and Italy. Both countries say that if a woman must absolutely have a drink while pregnant, it should be limited to one drink once or twice each week.

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have also issued statements urging pregnant woman to refrain from drinking alcohol. According to Dr. Cheryl Tan from the CDC, “There is no safe amount, no safe time, and no safe type of alcohol to drink during pregnancy.” During a 2011-2013 study, Tan found that one in 10 pregnant women reported drinking alcohol in the past month, and one in 33 reported binge drinking.

Drinking during pregnancy increases the risk of a wide range of health problems, including complications with sight and hearing, the heart, bones, and kidneys. Children who were exposed to alcohol as fetuses are more likely to have issues with abstract reasoning, processing information, and are likely to suffer from ADHD.

Women who drank alcohol in the first trimester of their pregnancy are 12 times more likely to have a child that suffers from these issues. Drinking in the first and second trimester increased these risks by a factor of 61, and drinking during all three trimesters increased the risk 65 times over.

Exposure to alcohol slows the development of the cerebellum in a fetus, which is the hub of motor control and various information processing functions in the brain.

While some studies suggest that a moderate level of alcohol exposure is not harmful, doctors warn that each person is different and will respond to alcohol in different ways. According to Dr. Janet F. Williams, one of the head authors of the recent report submitted by the American Academy of Pediatrics, “The research suggests that the smartest choice for women who are pregnant is to just abstain from alcohol completely.”

Drinking during pregnancy is dangerous, and a leading national health organization would be remiss if they failed to adequately warn the public of the consequences.

Trévo is “liquid power in a bottle!” Doctor’s Statement

“Trévo gives your body the full spectrum of the nutrients that it needs for optimum health. You might wonder just what I mean by “optimum health” when it comes to the way your body functions. To my way of thinking, it’s a combination of elements that add up to more energy, a healthier body, and a good mental attitude. When your body achieves this kind of wholeness, it is more able to protect and heal itself naturally. And when wholeness is the goal, instead of merely addressing pain and disease, your body naturally moves toward health all by itself.

“In today’s fast-paced society, fast food and “meals on the run” are a way of life for millions of Americans. Unfortunately, our health as a nation is showing the devastating effects of this lifestyle. Even though the United States is the richest country on the face of the earth, it suffers from nutritional deficits and proliferating ailments. We eat until we are well past full, yet our bodies are starving for the nutrients that are woefully missing from the typical American diet of fat- and preservative-laden fast food meals. We simply are not getting the minerals, vitamins and phytonutrients that our bodies require. Intelligent supplementation has become a necessity for a healthy lifestyle.

“That is why I am such a strong proponent of Trévo. I have never seen a liquid nutritional formula that is so completely absorbed into the gastrointestinal tract or that works as well as this product does. Most of us know that the American Medical Association recommends that everyone take a multi-vitamin supplement. Again, the reason for this is that none of us are getting what we need from the foods we eat. But knowing what kind of supplement is best for one’s age group and individual needs can be extremely confusing. If you ever go down a store’s vitamin aisle, you will notice that there are vitamins for every age group. There are children’s vitamins, vitamins for teens, vitamins for women and for men, vitamins for seniors, and even vitamins for just about every health focus you can imagine.

“The beauty of Trévo is that, because it is so naturally bio-available, practically all of its nutrients are absorbed. Your body takes everything it needs and puts it all to work. And best of all, because of the way it is designed it will work just as well for a 2-year-old as it will for adults of all ages. I have found that when I start my day with two ounces of Trévo, it gives me the sustained energy I need.

“Even more important is the fact that, with  Trévo, I don’t worry about ”crashing” from an energy standpoint. I stay alert both mentally and physically throughout my entire day, no matter how long that day is. Remember, your body is designed for you to be alert all day, to be able to meet the challenges of each day and Trévo helps your body achieve that fresh balance.

“Trévo never gives you a high-octane buzz or sugar-saturated rush. What it does do, however, is allow your body to do what it should do normally. What it was actually created to do. So you feel better and function better … naturally.

“Another thing I really appreciate about Trévo is that it helps you stop sabotaging your weight loss efforts. When you take a nutrient-packed product like Trévo that replaces what your body is lacking nutritionally, you will likely find that you no longer have a craving for that candy bar or that super-sized hamburger or those nachos. And when you refrain from eating fast foods that are nutritionally-empty and full of fat, it makes sense that you do not take in as many extra calories. As your total caloric intake decreases, so does your weight. The result is a slimmer, trimmer, more healthy you.”
